Kirkstead Abbey was a monastery finished in 1187 near Woodhall Spa. It was destroyed in 1537 and the land was given to first the Duke of Suffolk and then the Earl of Lincoln who built a large house on the site. All that is now left is part of the wall!
We believe Kirkstead to be a wonderful and exciting place to have lots of fun, learning through an interactive play based approach – fully supported to progress through the Early Years Foundation Stage.
The children are taught by Mrs Nicholson, together with Mrs Allitt who both ensure the children have fun and learn lots!
Every day is packed full of different learning opportunities, both indoors and outdoors! Don’t forget, our door is always open should you need to talk to us, and Dojo is also a great communication tool between home and school.
