The percentage of children achieving the expected standard at KS2 was in line with national figures for reading and writing, below for maths and in line for combined reading/writing/maths. The percentage of children achieving a higher level of attainment was below national figures for reading and writing and in line with national figures for maths and combined. The average scaled score achieved across the year group was slightly below national figures. The average progress scores between KS1 and KS2 were below the National average (set at zero) but well within the Threshold limits set for the year.

Swineshead St Mary’s Primary school therefore met the Floor Standard for progress in 2016.
